Farm Truck Designs at Birchwood Artisan Market – Saturday 22 August 2026
We’re delighted to be returning to Birchwood Shopping Centre with Independent Street for the Birchwood Artisan Market on Saturday 22 August 2026.
Running from 10am until 4pm, this popular community artisan market brings together around 50 independent makers, bakers, artists, food producers and small businesses for a relaxed day of local shopping, street food, live music and family entertainment.
The market takes place outside Entrance 4 at Birchwood Shopping Centre in Warrington. Entry is free, the event is dog friendly and there will be activities and a play area for younger visitors.
What Type of Event Is Birchwood Artisan Market?
Birchwood Artisan Market is a family-friendly shopping and community event organised by the award-winning Independent Street team.
Rather than a specialist car show or traditional market, this event focuses on carefully selected independent businesses. Visitors can expect handmade gifts, locally produced food and drink, artwork, homeware, jewellery, crafts, sweet treats, street food and plenty of unusual products that you won’t normally find on the high street.
There will also be live music and children’s activities throughout the day, making it an easy day out for the whole family.

We’ll be bringing a wide selection of handcrafted steel products made at our family-run workshop in Lymm, Warrington, including:
Heavy-duty metal hanging basket brackets
Metal garden signs and decorative stakes
Wildlife and bird-themed garden art
CNC-cut metal wall signs
Dog, vehicle, military and regional designs
Memorial and remembrance pieces
Unique gifts for the home and garden
Examples of our latest custom designs
Our hanging basket brackets are manufactured from strong 3mm steel, with a 30cm projection, four mounting holes and enough space for hanging baskets up to 20 inches.
Everything is designed and cut in-house using our Xtreme CNC plasma machinery before being hand-finished, welded using our R-Tech equipment and, where required, powder coated locally.

If you have a particular animal, vehicle, military badge, family name, business logo or completely original idea in mind, come and have a chat with us.
We offer free custom artwork on our hanging basket brackets and can also create bespoke wall signs, garden pieces and personalised gifts. You’re welcome to bring a photograph, sketch or idea along to the market so we can discuss what is possible.
With Christmas beginning to creep closer, the Birchwood market is also a great opportunity to discuss personalised presents early and avoid the last-minute rush.

Independent Street is bringing together around 50 independent businesses for the August market. Visitors can expect a varied selection of makers, bakers, artists, crafters, artisan food and drink producers and street-food traders.
