We’re delighted to be returning to Bents Garden & Home for another fantastic weekend with Independent Street on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026!

The Bents Artisan Market is a large, free-entry outdoor makers’ market featuring more than 80 independent stalls each day, alongside street food, live music and creative activities for children.

What type of event is it?

Organised by Independent Street, the Bents Artisan Market celebrates independent makers, bakers, artists, producers and small businesses from across the North West.

The market takes place outside Bents Garden & Home and is designed as a relaxed, family-friendly shopping experience where visitors can meet the people who design, make and produce the items on sale.

Independent Street describes Bents as one of its flagship Warrington events, bringing together more than 80 stalls each day.

Our metal garden range will be taking centre stage at this event, making Bents the perfect place to see our designs in person.

Our heavy-duty hanging basket brackets are made from 3mm steel, project approximately 30cm from the wall and have four mounting holes. They are suitable for baskets up to 20 inches and are locally powder coated for a durable outdoor finish.

Everything is designed and made by us at our family-run workshop in Lymm, Warrington.

If you have been looking for a particular animal, vehicle, military emblem, hobby or personalised sign, come and talk to us at the market.

We can produce bespoke designs from photographs, drawings or your own ideas. Custom artwork for our hanging basket brackets is available at no additional design charge, making it easy to create something that is completely personal to you.

September is also an ideal time to start thinking about unusual handmade Christmas presents. Ordering early gives us more time to design, cut, weld and finish your commission before the busy festive period.

What other traders will be there?

Independent Street has announced more than 80 artisan stalls each day. The published market information says visitors can expect traders offering:

The market is held in the outside car park area at Bents Garden & Home, an award-winning, family-run garden, home and leisure destination in Glazebury.

Alongside the artisan market, visitors can explore Bents’ plants, garden products, homeware, gifts, food hall, pet department and dining areas. Bents also has family attractions and several places to stop for breakfast, lunch, coffee or cake. Charges may apply for certain attractions and activities.

The outdoor artisan market is dog friendly, but dogs must remain on a lead.

Bents welcomes dogs in selected areas, including The Pet Place, Pet Café, outside plant area, Open Skies Glasshouse and designated outdoor dining spaces. Only assistance dogs are permitted in the main indoor store and indoor restaurants.

Organised by Great British Motor Shows, this flagship outdoor motoring event brings together classic cars, motorcycles, performance vehicles, car clubs, private collectors and specialist traders in the beautiful grounds of Arley Hall.

What type of event is it?

This is a large classic and performance motor show aimed at motoring enthusiasts, collectors and families. The show is expected to include:

  • Classic cars and modern classics manufactured before 2010

  • Motorcycles and scooters from every era

  • Kit cars, custom builds and modified vehicles

  • Classic Land Rovers, 4x4s and off-road vehicles

  • Sports cars, supercars and hypercars

The organisers have confirmed car clubs, private exhibitors, specialist trade stands, an autojumble and food and refreshment stalls.

The trade and autojumble area is expected to include businesses selling items such as:

The Jaguar Drivers Club Lancashire has included the Arley Hall show in its 2026 members’ diary, although its listing does not confirm whether it will operate a formal club stand.

Visitors can upgrade their tickets to use the show’s VIP area, with options including breakfast pastries or an afternoon tea prepared by local caterers.

Please note that standard motor-show admission does not automatically include Arley Hall’s gardens. Garden admission must be purchased as an advance upgrade or paid separately through Arley Hall on the day.

Motor-show parking is listed as free and ample. Well-behaved dogs are welcome provided they remain on a lead, and food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

This is an outdoor event held on an estate showfield, so please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Arley’s access statement explains that parts of the estate include grass, gravel and some inclines. Visitors with particular access requirements are advised to contact the venue before travelling.

Farm Truck Designs will be trading at the Oulton Park Gold Cup throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026.

The Gold Cup is one of the North West’s biggest celebrations of historic motorsport. Across three days, Oulton Park will be filled with classic racing cars, vintage vehicles, miniature steam engines, historic tractors, period entertainment, family attractions, artisan traders and some wonderful displays celebrating Britain’s motoring heritage.

You’ll find Farm Truck Designs in the Artisan Market with our American Chevy pickup and a specially chosen selection of handmade metalwork that fits perfectly with the historic motoring, farming and engineering theme of the weekend.

A fantastic August Bank Holiday family day out

The Oulton Park Gold Cup offers much more than motor racing. Even family members who aren’t committed motorsport enthusiasts will find plenty to see and do around the circuit.

Children under 13 receive free admission and general parking is free. There is also an adventure playground, funfair, simulator experience, open paddock, classic vehicle displays, vintage tractors, steam engines, buses, Cyclekarts, live period entertainment and lots of food and shopping.

Saturday features practice and qualifying, while Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday are the main showpiece days with historic racing and the largest off-track displays.

Historic racing at the Oulton Park Gold Cup

The Historic Sports Car Club has brought together an exceptional racing programme covering everything from pre-war Grand Prix machinery to 1970s sports and touring cars.

The on-track programme includes:

  • Derek Bell Trophy – powerful Formula 5000 and Formula 2 single-seaters from between 1967 and 1979.

  • Historic Grand Prix Cars Association – beautiful front and rear-engined Grand Prix cars from the pre-1966 era.

  • Vintage and Historic Seaman Trophies – an extraordinary collection of pre-war Grand Prix cars, including machinery from Maserati, ERA, Bugatti and Alfa Romeo.

  • Historic Formula 3 – the unmistakable high-revving single-seaters that raced throughout Europe between 1964 and 1970.

  • Historic Formula Junior – popular single-seaters representing the Formula Junior period from 1958 to 1963.

  • 500cc Historic Formula 3 – lightweight single-seaters built between 1946 and 1960.

  • Thundersports – sports-racing, GT and touring cars inspired by international endurance and sports-car racing up to the end of 1979.

  • HSCC Alfa Romeo Championship – a grid filled with beautiful Italian racing cars.

  • Guards Trophy – sports-racing and GT cars representing the 1960s.

  • Special Saloons and Modsports – an eclectic collection of heavily modified and extremely powerful racing cars.

  • Historic Formula Ford – close racing from Formula Ford cars built before 1972.

  • 70s and Historic Roadsports – classic road-going sports and GT cars competing in closely matched races.

Brabham and Can-Am anniversary celebrations

The 2026 Gold Cup will include a major celebration marking 100 years since the birth of legendary racing driver and constructor Sir Jack Brabham.

It is also 60 years since Brabham won the 1966 Formula One World Championship in a car carrying his own name. His son, Le Mans winner David Brabham, will appear at the event for a special question-and-answer session on Bank Holiday Monday.

The weekend will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Can-Am racing. A collection of iconic Can-Am cars will be displayed throughout the event, with selected machinery taking to the Oulton Park circuit so visitors can experience the sights and sounds of these incredible cars.

Classic cars, tractors, steam engines and heritage displays

The off-track programme is packed with attractions, including:

  • Vintage tractors from the 1920s through to the 1970s, with owners available to talk about their machines and answer questions.

  • Cheshire Steamers displaying an impressive collection of working miniature steam engines.

  • Classic and vintage car club displays featuring vehicles from across the country.

  • The Cheshire Concours d’Esprit on Sunday, featuring characterful pre-war and post-war sports cars with fascinating histories.

  • Classic buses restored to their former glory and displayed by TTCDiecast.

  • Cyclekarts GB, featuring hand-built lightweight machines inspired by pre-war racing cars, together with an open paddock where visitors can meet their drivers and builders.

  • The Oulton Park Exhibition, featuring historic photographs, artwork and a film celebrating the circuit’s history.

  • The Jim Clark Trust, with racing memorabilia and merchandise celebrating the career of one of Britain’s greatest drivers.

  • Hampson Auctions’ collection of classic, performance and supercars. Auction viewing takes place from 9:00am–6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, and from 9:00am–12:00pm on Monday.

  • The live Hampson Gold Cup Auction at 12:00pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

  • A free Sunday pit walk giving visitors the opportunity to meet drivers and see the racing cars at close quarters.

  • An open race paddock throughout the weekend, with hundreds of historic saloon cars, sports cars and single-seaters available to view.

  • Live period music and nostalgic off-track entertainment.

  • Motorsport trade stands selling parts, accessories and team merchandise.

  • The Artisan Market featuring independent makers, locally produced food, drink and handcrafted gifts.

Families can also enjoy:

We’re excited to announce that Farm Truck Designs will be trading at the U.S. AutoShow at Oulton Park on Saturday 22 August 2026!

One of the North West’s biggest celebrations of American motoring, the U.S. AutoShow brings together thunderous V8 racing, genuine NASCAR demonstrations, hundreds of American cars and trucks, live country music, family activities, food, shopping and entertainment.

You’ll find Farm Truck Designs in the Local Produce Artisan Market. Look out for our American Chevy pickup and come over to browse our latest handmade metalwork.

A brilliant family day out in Cheshire

This is much more than a day of motor racing. There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained, even if not everyone is a dedicated petrolhead.

Children under 13 receive free admission, general parking is free and several of the family activities are included with admission. With racing, live music, children’s play areas, American vehicles and plenty of food and shopping, it is easy to make a full day of it.

What’s happening on the track?

The action-packed racing and demonstration programme includes:

  • Bernie’s V8s and Historic Outlaws, featuring powerful American muscle cars such as Ford Mustangs and Pontiac Firebirds.

  • The Legends Cars Championship, with packed grids of scaled-down Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge-inspired stock cars.

  • Genuine American NASCAR demonstrations on the Oulton Park International Circuit. Demonstrations are provisionally scheduled for 9:50am and 3:50pm.

  • BriSCA Heritage Stock Cars, including a static paddock display and an on-track demonstration provisionally scheduled for 12:10pm.

  • 7 Racing, featuring close racing from the Caterham 310R, 270R and 420R championships.

  • A free public grid walk, provisionally scheduled from 12:30pm until 1:30pm, giving visitors the chance to walk onto the circuit and see the cars up close.

  • An open paddock where visitors can get closer to the racing machinery, teams and drivers.

  • A spectacular American vehicle parade lap to finish the day, provisionally scheduled from 5:15pm until 5:30pm.

Away from the racing, visitors can enjoy:

  • A huge American vehicle display featuring classic cars, muscle cars, custom vehicles, pickups and some of the giants of the American highways.

  • Static displays of genuine NASCAR machines and historic BriSCA stock cars.

  • Live country music in the music tent, including:

    • Brooke Law from 12:00pm–1:00pm

    • Fin Pearson from 1:30pm–2:30pm

    • Jake O’Neill from 3:00pm–4:00pm

  • Two beginner-friendly line-dancing sessions with Crewe’s Liners.

  • A free Pop Up Play Village where younger children can enjoy imaginative role play.

  • The Art Studio, where children can make a craft to take home. A small additional charge applies.

  • Professional face painting from Facepaint Fever. Individual charges apply.

  • Tot Wheels, new for 2026, giving little drivers the chance to take the wheel of child-sized classic American cars. Individual charges apply.

We’re excited to announce that Farm Truck Designs will be exhibiting at the Classic & Retro Car Revival at Tatton Park on 15–16 August 2026!

Formerly known as the Passion for Power Classic Motor Show, this newly evolved event brings together an incredible mix of classic and retro cars, heritage commercials, and automotive icons. It’s one of the standout shows of the year for enthusiasts — and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

We’re delighted to announce that Farm Truck Designs will be trading at Wigan Artisan Market at The Cotton Works on Sunday 9 August 2026!

Organised by Independent Street in collaboration with The Heaton Group, this large monthly artisan market brings together local makers, independent businesses, food producers and creative traders inside one of Wigan’s most distinctive historic locations.

What Type of Event Is It?

Wigan Artisan Market is a free, family-friendly community event celebrating independent businesses, handmade products, food, music and local creativity.

Visitors can expect around 80 carefully selected artisan stalls, alongside street food, live music and creative activities for children. The market takes place at the historic Cotton Works, where Wigan’s industrial heritage is being transformed into a new destination for shopping, eating, drinking and entertainment.

Many Farm Truck Designs products can be personalised or created using your own idea.

We can incorporate family names, favourite dog breeds, vehicles, business logos, military themes and special wording into selected products. Custom artwork for our hanging basket brackets is available without an additional artwork charge.

Bring a photograph, drawing or idea on your phone and have a chat with us at the market. We’ll explain what can be made and help turn your idea into a unique piece of metalwork.

Who Else Will Be There?

Independent Street’s complete trader roster can change between markets, but approximately 80 independent businesses are expected across handmade crafts, artwork, jewellery, skincare, homeware, gifts, baked goods, local produce and street food.

Traders with dated listings confirming their attendance on 9 August include:

  • Atherton Honey – locally produced honey, bee products and honey tasters

  • BohoCircle – Hill Tribe fine-silver jewellery, handmade leather keyrings and artisan leather etching

The food and drink offering continues inside Feast at the Mills, where the current resident food traders include Burger & Bird, Dough So Good, Quiero Tacos and Smoke on Deez.

Feast’s published entertainment programme also lists live music from Luke McColl between 3pm and 5pm. This is separate from any additional market entertainment arranged by Independent Street.

We're excited to announce that Farm Truck Designs will be exhibiting at the official launch of Ashton Artisan Market on Sunday 19th July 2026.

This isn't just another market. It's the very first event in what promises to become one of Greater Manchester's premier monthly artisan markets, organised by the award-winning Independent Street team in partnership with Tameside Council.

As a family-run business, we love supporting brand-new markets, and we're incredibly proud to be one of the independent makers helping launch this fantastic new event.

The new Ashton Artisan Market will take place in the newly regenerated Market Square, right beside the famous Ashton Market Hall.

Following a £14.6 million investment in Ashton town centre, this exciting new artisan market aims to bring together around 70 carefully selected independent traders, alongside live music, street food, free children's activities and creative workshops, creating a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Farm Truck Designs at Warrington Armed Forces Day 2026

We're incredibly proud to be attending Warrington Armed Forces Day 2026, one of the North West's biggest celebrations of the Armed Forces community. The event takes place on Saturday 27th June at Crosfields Recreation Club in Great Sankey and brings together serving personnel, veterans, cadets, military charities, displays, vehicles, activities and thousands of visitors for a fantastic day of remembrance, support and community spirit.

As a family-run business based in Cheshire, supporting our Armed Forces community is something that means a great deal to us. Throughout the day you'll find the Farm Truck Designs team showcasing our range of handcrafted steel products, including our popular military hanging basket brackets, memorial pieces, wall plaques, fire pits and custom metal artwork.

Officially Licensed by the Ministry of Defence

What makes our military collection particularly special is that Farm Truck Designs is officially licensed by the Ministry of Defence to reproduce and use British Armed Forces insignia. This allows us to create authentic designs featuring military badges, cap badges, regimental crests and service emblems from across the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.

Whether you're looking for a gift for a veteran, serving member of the Armed Forces, military family, or simply want to show your support and pride, we can create a unique piece that celebrates military service and heritage.

Handmade in Cheshire

Every item we sell is designed and manufactured in-house using our UK-built Xtreme CNC plasma cutter before being hand-finished right here in Cheshire. Our heavy-duty hanging basket brackets are cut from 3mm steel, feature four fixing points for strength and durability, and can be supplied in a wide range of military-themed designs.

We can also create completely bespoke pieces featuring specific regiments, corps, squadrons, ships, military vehicles or personalised wording.
