Farm Truck Designs will be trading at the Oulton Park Gold Cup throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026.
The Gold Cup is one of the North West’s biggest celebrations of historic motorsport. Across three days, Oulton Park will be filled with classic racing cars, vintage vehicles, miniature steam engines, historic tractors, period entertainment, family attractions, artisan traders and some wonderful displays celebrating Britain’s motoring heritage.
You’ll find Farm Truck Designs in the Artisan Market with our American Chevy pickup and a specially chosen selection of handmade metalwork that fits perfectly with the historic motoring, farming and engineering theme of the weekend.
A fantastic August Bank Holiday family day out
The Oulton Park Gold Cup offers much more than motor racing. Even family members who aren’t committed motorsport enthusiasts will find plenty to see and do around the circuit.
Children under 13 receive free admission and general parking is free. There is also an adventure playground, funfair, simulator experience, open paddock, classic vehicle displays, vintage tractors, steam engines, buses, Cyclekarts, live period entertainment and lots of food and shopping.
Saturday features practice and qualifying, while Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday are the main showpiece days with historic racing and the largest off-track displays.
Historic racing at the Oulton Park Gold Cup
The Historic Sports Car Club has brought together an exceptional racing programme covering everything from pre-war Grand Prix machinery to 1970s sports and touring cars.
The on-track programme includes:
Derek Bell Trophy – powerful Formula 5000 and Formula 2 single-seaters from between 1967 and 1979.
Historic Grand Prix Cars Association – beautiful front and rear-engined Grand Prix cars from the pre-1966 era.
Vintage and Historic Seaman Trophies – an extraordinary collection of pre-war Grand Prix cars, including machinery from Maserati, ERA, Bugatti and Alfa Romeo.
Historic Formula 3 – the unmistakable high-revving single-seaters that raced throughout Europe between 1964 and 1970.
Historic Formula Junior – popular single-seaters representing the Formula Junior period from 1958 to 1963.
500cc Historic Formula 3 – lightweight single-seaters built between 1946 and 1960.
Thundersports – sports-racing, GT and touring cars inspired by international endurance and sports-car racing up to the end of 1979.
HSCC Alfa Romeo Championship – a grid filled with beautiful Italian racing cars.
Guards Trophy – sports-racing and GT cars representing the 1960s.
Special Saloons and Modsports – an eclectic collection of heavily modified and extremely powerful racing cars.
Historic Formula Ford – close racing from Formula Ford cars built before 1972.
70s and Historic Roadsports – classic road-going sports and GT cars competing in closely matched races.
Brabham and Can-Am anniversary celebrations
The 2026 Gold Cup will include a major celebration marking 100 years since the birth of legendary racing driver and constructor Sir Jack Brabham.
It is also 60 years since Brabham won the 1966 Formula One World Championship in a car carrying his own name. His son, Le Mans winner David Brabham, will appear at the event for a special question-and-answer session on Bank Holiday Monday.
The weekend will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Can-Am racing. A collection of iconic Can-Am cars will be displayed throughout the event, with selected machinery taking to the Oulton Park circuit so visitors can experience the sights and sounds of these incredible cars.
Classic cars, tractors, steam engines and heritage displays
The off-track programme is packed with attractions, including:
Vintage tractors from the 1920s through to the 1970s, with owners available to talk about their machines and answer questions.
Cheshire Steamers displaying an impressive collection of working miniature steam engines.
Classic and vintage car club displays featuring vehicles from across the country.
The Cheshire Concours d’Esprit on Sunday, featuring characterful pre-war and post-war sports cars with fascinating histories.
Classic buses restored to their former glory and displayed by TTCDiecast.
Cyclekarts GB, featuring hand-built lightweight machines inspired by pre-war racing cars, together with an open paddock where visitors can meet their drivers and builders.
The Oulton Park Exhibition, featuring historic photographs, artwork and a film celebrating the circuit’s history.
The Jim Clark Trust, with racing memorabilia and merchandise celebrating the career of one of Britain’s greatest drivers.
Hampson Auctions’ collection of classic, performance and supercars. Auction viewing takes place from 9:00am–6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, and from 9:00am–12:00pm on Monday.

A free Sunday pit walk giving visitors the opportunity to meet drivers and see the racing cars at close quarters.
An open race paddock throughout the weekend, with hundreds of historic saloon cars, sports cars and single-seaters available to view.

Motorsport trade stands selling parts, accessories and team merchandise.
The Artisan Market featuring independent makers, locally produced food, drink and handcrafted gifts.

The Oulton Park Fun Zone and fairground rides. Individual charges apply.
A driving simulator experience where visitors can attempt to set the fastest time around Oulton Park. Sessions cost £10 per person and there is a cash prize for the quickest driver.

Our heavy-duty hanging basket brackets are manufactured from 3mm steel, have a 30cm projection and four mounting holes, and are suitable for hanging baskets up to 20 inches.

We can create custom hanging basket brackets, wall signs, key hooks and personalised metal artwork based on a favourite vehicle, farm name, registration, photograph or idea.
Custom artwork for our hanging basket brackets is available at no additional design charge.
Everything is designed and CNC plasma cut in-house at our family-run workshop in Lymm, Cheshire. Each piece is carefully hand-finished, with our black products professionally powder coated locally.

Weekend camping with full facilities is available separately. Paid grandstand upgrades for Knickerbrook, Old Hall and Lodge are also available on Sunday and Monday.
